Robinson & Associates, Inc., is a research and consulting firm specializing in architectural, landscape, and cultural history. Based on more than 25 years of experience and analysis, Robinson & Associates is one of the oldest and most respected firms of its kind in the mid-Atlantic region. All key firm members meet and/or exceed the minimum professional qualifications for architectural historians and for historians as specified by the Secretary of the Interior.

Robinson & Associates has extensive experience with cultural resource documentation, including National Register of Historic Places and National Historic Landmark nominations, historic context studies, historic structure reports, cultural landscape reports, determinations of significance, and historic inventories and surveys.

Firm members' strong understanding of preservation legislation and regulations; issues of historic significance, context, and compatibility; and Section 106 review and other preservation compliance processes has greatly facilitated the ultimate success of projects involving a diverse range of cultural resource types in locations across the country.
